As some of you may have already heard, we’ll be adding a new way of being a part of ASL in the fall. Historically, we’ve been a ‘year-round’, ‘travel’ club. This has served many of our athletes well, as they’ve landed on swimming as their main sport, and it works for them. However, we’ve struggled to meet the needs of athletes who aren’t yet ready to make swimming their go-to activity after school, and still want to explore other options. You did it again, ASL! The 2nd edition of the Southeastern Meet of Champions was a HUGE success! Tons of fast racing, amazing support from the stands, tremendous volunteer efforts, delicious meal donations to hospitality...it all came together for a fantastic meet. I cannot thank the ASL parents enough for coming together to make it happen. The ASL Board of Directors and Coaches would like to extend a HUGE thank you to everyone who contributed to the "I Heart ASL" Fundraiser! Together we were able to raise $31,040, more than $1000 dollars over our goal! What an effort! This money will help us keep dues down to maintain access for as many athletes as possible and the extra funds will be earmarked for improving our meet livestream capabilities. Hey folks, Team Unify is having issues with emails not sending, system wide across all the teams that use them. I'm looking for a workaround some teams have found, but for now, emails aren't sending.
