The Importance of Sleep Recovery

Swimmers and Parents,
Swimming can be a demanding sport on the body as every muscle is being used to move through the water. We talk about nutrition and hydration a good bit and another crucial component is sleep. With the use of technology, our teens and pre teens can be up for hours watching vidoes, chatting with friends and scrolling through social media. In order to be a top level athlete the discipline of sleep is also a necessary component.
