Coaches' Corner Update: Swim Meets...Why?
As the Long Course season gets underway, I'm sure there are many new swim parents (and maybe even some veterans) asking, "Why are there so many meets on the schedule?" It gets even a little more complicated in June when you add in Summer League meets.
Well...Coach Greg wrote a great piece on this particular subject back in August, but many of you probably missed it because you either weren't on the team yet or because it was during our "offseason" month. Either way, it's a great explanation of why competing in swim meets is important and is even more applicable for long course meters racing, since we do less of this overall.
